HOTAfest 2010 Cancelled

I have made the difficult decision to "retire" as HOTAfest organizer. It was a great festival & "Thanks!" to all the folks who worked so hard over the years to make the festival such a success.

Raising the money plus producing the festival was simply too much for me to handle. I cannot continue to do it while maintaining my health and business. A festival of this size needs to be run by a small staff of semi-professional volunteers who split up the tasks to make it happen.

HOTA-FMA will continue to function on a smaller scale sponsoring dances & concerts in the area.

THE 2009 REVIEWS ARE IN!

"Holy smokes, what a weekend!!!

It really knocked my socks off. It by far exceeded my expectations.....It was really magical for a lot of people--- the dancing in particular was really amazing, it's so cool how much of a dance weekend it turned into. I loved seeing dancers who we run into in Ithaca, Rochester, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, etc!! ... I thought the combination of staff worked out really well too--- there was some really great energy between Tunescape and Bonnie Loch and Celticladda. We had so much fun!" RB Shinglehouse, Pa.
